All IB DP students choose six subjects. These subjects have to be chosen from a wide range of subject areas, meaning that you will have to study literature, social science, natural science and maths. This ensures that IB students gain a broad range of academic knowledge and obtain a variety of skills. You choose three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL). HL subjects have more teaching hours and go more in-depth than SL subjects.

If the applicant has any interest in doing online courses offered by Pamoja Education, we will look into the possibilities, but cannot guarantee anything, and the pupil may have to bear the expenses, as this would be outside what the school offers.

• Norwegian A Literature (HL and SL)
• English A Language and Literature (HL and SL)
• Other A-Languages (SL): Self-taught, school supported, if possible

Group 2: Language acquisition

• Norwegian B (HL and SL)

Group 3: Social sciences

• Psychology (HL and SL)
• History (HL and SL)

Group 4: Natural sciences

• Biology (HL and SL)

Group 5: Mathematics 

• Mathematics: applications and interpretations (HL and SL)

CAS and TOK – mandatory courses for all students.

Creativity, activity, service (CAS) is one of the three essential core elements that every student must complete as part of the Diploma Programme.
